Horses and ponies come in many different colours. Grey - A white horse that has black and whiehairs mixed evenly together.. Bay - A brown horse or pony. Black - The pony or horse that is completely black. Palomino - A pale bay horse with a slightly lighter mane and tale. Chestnut - A fawnie-brown/reddish-brown Pony Roan - A horse or pony that is reddish brown with a whiteish over lay in places. Liver Chestnut - A dark purpleish- brown pony or horse. Dun - A horse or pony that has a goldenish coat with a darker forelock, but lighter mane and tail that is still darker that the rest of the horse. Dark Bay - A very dark Bay, almost Black. Skewbald - A horse or pony that has brown and white and possibly black patches. Strawberry Roan - A browny-pink horse or pony, often getting lighter at the head. blue Roan - A blueish-grey horse or pony often getting lighter at the head. Piebald - A horse or pony that has black and white patches over it. White - A completely White horse, although these horses are normlly called grey
