Red Milk Snake
The Red Milk Snake, lampropeltis Triangulum Syspila, is quite an interesting snake in my opinion due to its colour pattern. It belongs to the family Colubridae.
In appearance, this snake will usually have a white, cream or beige coloured body with intense, bright, red saddle marks that are usually bordered with a black outline.
Red Milk Snakes are relatively small, when compared to other Milk Snakes, growing to an approximate length of 2-3 feet.
They can be found in the wild in places across the world, such as: Kentucky, Oklahoma and the Mississippi.
Red Milk Snakes can live up to 15 years and onwards. Like the majority of snakes, the Red Milk Snake’s diet is made up of rodents.
If you have a pet red milk snake, care should be taken when feeding them that the food isn’t too large for them to swallow or digest. If it is there is a risk of the snake choking. Snake owners tend to say don’t feed food to the snake that is bigger than one and a half times the size of the snake’s own head.

Hey Madelinedyer,
This question may be a little off-topic, King and Milk snakes are a sensible solution as a initial snake pet. These breeds are routinely terribly docile, tremendously hardy and awfully very easy to consider treatment of. There are some species possessing a little bit of an inclination to be nippy, so it is frequently right to be mindful, particularly when you happen to be environment up your king and milk snake care plan.
Cheers
