Garden Birds Feeding In The Snow – Video
I was just looking through the various videos on my computer and found this one of several garden birds feeding in the snow. This video was filmed in late December 2009/ early January 2010.
I remeber eating my breakfast one snowy morning, whilst looking out the kitchen window and watching these beautiful birds eating the seeds and peanuts.
It is important to feed birds like these in winter time as the berries and food such as worms they’d normally eat either aren’t available or will be too difficult to get at because of the weather, and so many could starve if we don’t provided extra food for them.
I’d just like to add, when choosing a bird feeder choose a squirrel proof one if you don’t want to be watching squirrels get all the bird feed and potentially break the bird feeder.
